The most asked questions about OUAC applications are as follows:

What is the OUAC?

The Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) is a centralised platform where you can apply for undergraduate courses in Ontario universities.

Where do I apply for the OUAC?

You can easily apply through the OUAC website, www.ouac.on.ca. But before that, you’ll need to determine the universities you want to apply for:

·         Search and check university publications and notices

·         Browse through various programs conducted in different universities

·         Take note of the eligibility criteria, admission requirements, and specific deadlines for your programs of choice

Who is eligible for the OUAC application?

There are two different applications for undergraduate programs: 101 and 105.

For OUAC 101, you’ll need to meet allthe following criteria’s:

·         You are 21 years old or younger

·         You are taking courses during the day at an Ontario high school

·         You have not been out of high school for more than seven consecutive months at any point

·         You are expected to or will have received your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) at the end of the current year

·         You are applying to the first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma program at an Ontario university

Meanwhile, to apply for the OUAC 105, you need to meet any of these requirements:

·         You are currently a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or studying on a study permit

·         You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living elsewhere and not currently attending an Ontario high school day program

·         You currently reside outside of Canada and are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

 

Whichuniversities can I apply for with the OUAC?

The OUAC application process allows you to apply for over 20 Ontario universities, including the University of Windsor, York University, and Ontario Tech University.
